Flock Discover · First module
An evidence-backed model of your organization, searched for opportunities worth investigating.
Flock Discover builds a sourced, falsifiable model of a company and its environment from public information, then searches it for specific, defined ways to create value. Built first for circular and process-industrial organizations: companies that source, process, transport, transform, or valorize variable material streams.
Status
In active development and validation.
We're benchmarking Discover's output against a human analyst, a general-purpose LLM, and a simpler no-graph approach before offering it as a packaged engagement. It has been verified end-to-end against real, public company data.
Three opportunity patterns
Discover doesn't ask a model to brainstorm ideas. It only proposes a hypothesis when the evidence graph it has built actually satisfies one of these patterns.
Value upgrade
Evidence suggests a stream or byproduct could be converted into something higher-value than its current use.
Residual-stream sourcing
Evidence suggests a stream this organization already handles could source another organization's input, or the reverse.
Cross-business-unit synergy
Evidence suggests two parts of the same organization or group could combine capabilities or streams they currently run separately.
How it works
- 1
Scope a domain
A bounded, HTTPS-only crawl of public pages, respecting robots.txt and a page budget.
- 2
Build the evidence ledger
Extract claims from the crawl, each tied to an exact quote from its source.
- 3
Project the evidence graph
Normalize entities and relationships conservatively, so the same organization or stream isn't counted twice.
- 4
Match opportunity patterns
Surface a hypothesis only when the evidence graph actually satisfies a defined pattern, never a free-form list of ideas.
- 5
Review with your team
Every hypothesis is reviewed alongside a Vink Intelligence analyst before it goes further.
Evidence before hypothesis
- A source is not a claim, and a claim is not an accepted relationship.
- Every accepted factual claim carries exact source lineage, down to the fragment it came from.
- An inference is never presented as an observed fact, and an opportunity is a hypothesis, not a conclusion.
- Missing public evidence is not treated as proof of absence.
- Human review is authoritative for ambiguous merges, high-impact claims, and prioritization.
How you'd work with us
Discover isn't a self-serve dashboard. It's the engine behind the Vink Opportunity Discovery Sprint: a short, evidence-driven engagement where a Vink Intelligence analyst works with your innovation, strategy, circularity, R&D, or business-development lead to decide which opportunities are worth investigating further.
The Sprint isn't offered as a packaged product yet. We're validating it directly with a small number of organizations first.
Run a circular or process-industrial organization?
If you want an early look at what Discover finds in your own public footprint, or want to help shape the Sprint before it's packaged, reach out. See also our Asset Circles case study for another example of an evidence-driven system we've built.
